Dr. Binod Atreya

Advisory

Dr. Atreya is one of the prominent figures of Nepal with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Banking and Financial sector. He currently serves as a Managing Director at BFIN (https://bfin.com.np), a banking and financial capacity development institution. Prior to joining BFIN, for over 30 years, Dr. Atreya served in various capacities in Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank of Nepal along with other notable organizations. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Public Management Reform from Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia and provides guest lectures and training in various locations. His expertise includes in the areas of public-private partnership, entrepreneurship development, micro-finance and developing the strategic plan, financial literacy policy, financial sector reform, management and administration, research and training. Dr. Atreya has been a great mentor and leader to us and been guiding us and helping us carry our vision and mission for the benefit of our youths.

Mr. Prakash Kant Silwal

Advisory

Mr. Silwal has a long history of working with USAID and other development partners. He has more than 25 years of experience working in Africa, South Asia (including Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and in Bangladesh) and now three years in Africa with IITA/ CGIAR (International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) - CGIAR), as a Chief of Party with the ability to foster partnerships to design innovative development programs, mobilize resources to support their roll out and manage them to ensure impact. His contribution to the betterment of this current society is invaluable and highly respected. His global exposure, profound experience, and strong leadership have been of great value to Arrow by having him in our Advisory Board. Mr. Silwal has been one of our brains behind for the height we have taken and name we have earned.

Jeevan Bhattarai, PhD

Advisor

Graduated (MBA and PhD) from the Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tohoku University. Mr. Bhattarai is currently serving as General Secretary of JUAAN (JUAAN – Japanese Universities Alumni Association, Nepal) including other organizations of social benefits. He has strong academic background in strategic management, regional development, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and research, and more than 20 years of working experience in various organizations, from private organizations, research institutes, and nonprofit to bilateral organizations in Nepal as well as in Japan. Has a commitment, self-discipline, self-motivation, and good relation and network with different stakeholders in Nepal.

Mr. Ramesh Chandra Bhattarai

Executive Chairman

Mr. Bhattarai was a dynamic personality who was involved in a variety of professional activities as well as philanthropic work for the community. In 1997, he received his Masters degree in Economics from Tribhuvan University in Nepal, and then he completed a professional course called Database Administrator - Highly Skilled IT, which lasted for 24 months and the course was organized and conducted by the Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. After successfully completing these courses, he worked for a pioneering IT company in Kathmandu while also teaching to the University students. Through his professional work and teaching experience, he was fascinated to consider a career in the education consulting industry, and he established his own education consulting firm with the goal of assisting students in achieving academic goals both locally and internationally.

Mr. Shiva Prasad Pokharel

Executive Director

Mr. Pokharel was a team leader in developing and promoting the Nepalinux distribution as part of the PAN Localization Project, which had been funded by IDRC and aimed to reduce the digital divide in the Nepali community through the localization of Ubuntu and related Linux operating systems. After 6 years of working on the project, he joined Arrow International to invest his knowledge and expertise in his love and passion for youth and education. He has a Master's degree in Sociology and has always wanted to help Nepalese society, so he works as the Chairman of an NGO dedicated to empowering and mobilizing Nepalese youth. His unconditional love and dedication to youth have earned him a high level of respect and admiration in the industry. His industry insights span 18 years in the education consulting industry, which he continues to work in.

Mr. Santosh Panta

Director

Mr. Panta is a young, dynamic and passionate professional who is investing his valuable time in international education industry. He is much into managing the overall operations as well as to access digital networking through channelized social applications. He holds TITI training provided by the association of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training and Ministry of Education. He holds Master Degree in Business Study. He has as well worked as auditor and teacher before joining Arrow International.

Ms. Mandira Adhikari

Counsellor

Ms. Adhikari keeps her best in counseling and managing students with her pleasant personality. She makes her conversation in a friendly manner so the students visiting her share the vision what they actually want to be and their situations. She is a worth to the company since 2015 and been a member of the family since then.

Mr. Arun Karki

Counsellor

Mr. Karki has been working very hard to achieve his dream as an education consultant by furthering his career in facilitations of Nepalese students aspiring to achieve their educational goals abroad. He is a student of business and want to thrive himself into business world after significant experience in this industry. He is passionate, quick learner and dedicated for each cases assigned for further considerations at Arrow. Thanks to him for his great efforts.
